Description

Memphis Minnie's first influential record, recorded in Memphis on February 1930. Lots of scuffing and some light scratches, but only mild wear on this copy. Plays quite a bit better than most extant copies of this record (which sold well, but most copies were quickly worn out), with no peak distortion using a 2.8-mil stylus. MP3 available on request. This record is from the personal collection of radio personality and music historian Barret “Dr. Demento” Hansen, who is starting to downsize portions of his collection.
