Description
The first record by delta blues icon Tommy Johnson, with second guitar by Charlie McCoy, recorded in Memphis in early 1928. One 2-groove dig on A side, two 2-groove digs B side, all pass with no trouble. Slight rough start A, moderate scratches and heavy scuffing on both sides, moderate peak distortion on A side, not much distortion on B side but more noise due to scratches on that side. MP3 available upon request. This record is from the personal collection of radio personality and music historian Barret “Dr. Demento” Hansen, who is starting to downsize portions of his collection. Mr Hansen bought this record from the collection of his friend Bob "The Bear" Hite of Canned Heat in 1981 after Bob's passing.
